Angkor Wat

We took the overnight bus from Phnom Penh up to Siem Reap and were ready to stretch our legs once we got out. We rented a couple bicycles and made a solid attempt to cover as much ground as we could while exploring the temples of Angkor Wat. We found a sweet bar that night with a rooftop patio and halfpipe! Angkor Wat is just loaded with tourists, non-stop all day. The more exterior temples that were in disrepair were preferable to me for two reasons: you could climb around and explore them, and there were significantly less tourists. I feel a little guilty that I didn’t learn anything about the history of the place, but it was a beautiful experience nonetheless.
